THE TRIO

Percival solaris

"Right, okay, so... er... what is the plan, exactly?"

passionate to a fault, Percival is a serious workaholic. (When it comes to his personal studies, less so his real job...) He is an awkward yet endearing mixture of naive and determined- always trying his best despite being a little clueless. He's not the best as social interaction and comes across quite aloof at first, but he warms up to people quickly. Percy is someone who sticks to what he believes in at all costs- An unflinching pacifist, he always attempts to work things out peacefully, which while admirable, isn't always what the situation calls for. He is on two missions: study the anomalies to better understand how magic works, and try to understand who- or what- he is. Percy's character goes through significant changes throughout the story; when we first meet him in episode one, he's struggling badly with his mental health. As the story progresses we watch him regain hope and find a sense of purpose in his life again.

Robin

"I dunno, I don't plan things, I just do stuff and it usually works!"

Cheeky, cheerful, and always up for an adventure (whether that be in the wilderness or the pub!), Robin is a fun-loving young adult with a real lust for life. They're not overly hyper, very go-with-the-flow, but with big emotions that cause them to act before thinking more often than not. Creative, impulsive and pretty experienced with living outdoors, Robin is really good at thinking on their feet, which is great when the situation requires it, but within a group dynamic it often leads to Robin doing their own thing and expecting everyone else to be able to read their mind and go along with it. DEspite THEIR cheerful nature, there's more to robin than they let on. Percy can't quite put his finger on it, but he knows something's... off about Robin. Every now and then he catches them staring towards the ocean with an uncharacteristically sombre expression.

TUSK

"Will the pair of you calm down? We'll come up with something together."

A strict, grumpy and continuously exhausted Bigfoot who never seems to smile, Tusk acts as a sort of caretaker for Percy and robin. Being far older, he has much more experience both in life and specifically in surviving in the wilderness. He's not one for talking about feelings or sharing any personal details because he feels he has a duty to protect the group rather than burden them with his own problems. Despite his grumpy exterior, Tusk is incredibly kind-hearted and is always looking for people who may need a helping hand.
