The world of soluna is similar to earth, but ever so slightly... tilted.

It shares many aspects with our world but everything is just a little off somehow- not unsettling, just charmingly, subtly different.

Cats have six ears rather than two, dogs have spikes running down their backs, deer have grand, impossible looking spiralling antlers. As well as the more earthly creatures, Soluna is home to an array of slightly more out-there inhabitants as well...

​flora & landscape

Soluna's landscape varies wildly depending on where you are. Luminea (the country the story takes place in) is home to dense forests, windy moorlands, vast oceans, cascading mountains and dramatic rock formations. ​

Luminea's landscape is interesting because a lot of it feels a little cobbled together, like a patchwork quilt. You can travel through multiple different environments in one single day without going very far. The mountains and high moors have a sort of "rock pile" look to them, as if the landscape fell in pieces from the sky and stacked on top of itself, rather than naturally forming from the ground. 

Flora ranges from earth-accurate herbs and flowers to aggressive plant/creature hybrids and beautiful golden glowing berries.
